Carlos ran an entitlements company, and has managed a real estate investment company. He understands the inner-workings of government, and the demands of private investment.
Laura, our General Counsel and COO, spent several years as a land use attorney as Deputy City Attorney with the City of Oakland. In her current leadership role at BuildZig, Laura continues to advise on land use. Her experience ranges from acquisition and development to DRE subdivision, and condominium approvals – as well as CEQA, HOA, and permits.
